Halozyme

What should I know about Halozyme?

Halozyme Therapeutics is a US biotechnology company, headquartered in San Diego, California, best known for its drug-delivery technology. Its ENHANZE platform uses an enzyme called rHuPH20 to let medicines normally given by intravenous drip be injected under the skin instead. According to its Q2 2026 results, ENHANZE is used in ten commercial products across more than 100 markets. Halozyme earns most of its revenue as royalties from partner drugmakers, and also sells its own products. It trades on the Nasdaq under the ticker HALO.

What are Halozyme's main drugs?

Halozyme mostly earns money from other companies' medicines that use its technology. The Q2 2026 results name Janssen's Darzalex subcutaneous and argenx's Vyvgart Hytrulo as key royalty drivers. Royalty revenue was $307.7 million in the second quarter, up 50% from a year earlier. Halozyme also sells its own Hylenex and Xyosted products, which together with other product lines generated $129.6 million in net product sales in the quarter. The company raised its 2026 royalty revenue guidance to $1.220–$1.245 billion.

What is Halozyme currently developing?

Halozyme is signing new technology partnerships. The Q2 2026 results list Hypercon licences with Vertex and Oruka, and an ENHANZE licence with GSK covering several oncology targets. Incyte agreed in July 2026 to work on subcutaneous forms of INCA033989, and an undisclosed partner took the first ENHANZE licence for a nucleic acid therapy. Hypercon is a hyperconcentration technology that reduces injection volume. Takeda also reported positive Phase 2/3 results for TAK-881, a subcutaneous immunoglobulin using ENHANZE.

Is Halozyme publicly traded, and how big is it?

Yes. Halozyme trades on the Nasdaq under the ticker HALO. Its market capitalisation was about $12.5 billion on 8 October 2026. Total revenue for the second quarter of 2026 was $481.0 million, up 48% from $325.7 million a year earlier.
